A talent show is an event in which participants performed the arts of singing, Dancing, lip syncing, acting, martial arts, playing an instrument or other activities to Showcase skills. Moganyaka Annual Talent show is hosting for the very first time a talent show that aims to give people of all groups a platform to show their talents. The event will take place on the 21st of December 2019 at Manapyane community hall next to Montsosaboshego Primary School. The talent show is made to provide a platform for people of all ages to demonstrate talents of their choice. The days are long and the wait is longer. While matriculants up and down the country are lounging around at home, suffering from FOMO and thinking that everyone else is having a bigger, better holiday than them( trust me, they aren't). Former DA leader Mmusi Maimane to start a new political party, although he hasn't revealed more details about the party but they will be a party and the details will be revealed when the time is right. The South African unemployment rate has increased to 29.1% in the third quarter of the year 2019, this is an increase of 0.1% from the previous quarter statistics. Where are we heading as country? Does it not bother you? The government has always been behind the pupils from day one offering the support they needed. The Minister of Basic Education Angie Motshekga has revealed government plan to get learners to leave school at the age of 15 which is when they complete grade 9. Motshekga  said so in her speech at the 9th SADTU National Congress held at Nasrec, and stirred up a lot of controversy in the process: She revealed the government’s plans to allow students to leave school at the end of Grade 9, with an alternative set of qualifications. The Department of Basic Education is working on formalising Grade 9 as one of the exit points of schooling. One in which all people would be treated with dignity and respect; inequality would be eradicated or at least, seriously diminished; everyone would feel that they have equal opportunities to achieve their potential; everyone would feel safe, and enjoy the beauty of our country. The Spokesperson of the Department of Basic Education Elijah Mhlanga shared pictures of semi-naked women reading books on his twitter account over the weekend alongside the department's "Read to lead" campaign. The twitter users were not happy with the tweets and they expressed distasteful. The pictures looked as if Mhlanga was using women as object to attract young people to start reading.  A lot were offended by the tweets and did not hesitate to express their feelings. The Education system in South Africa has always been poor compared to other African countries, even studies shows that a lot of young people spend a lot of time on social media than on reading books. The unemployment rate in South Africa has increased.  According to a report by Stats S.A. the unemployment rate has increased to 29% in the second quarter of the year. This is actually the highest recordered since March 2008. Is this the direction that we are taking as a country. Weren't things supposed to be getting better. The political system in the county is in stumbles, the leadership is the one that is fighting in state of working to better the country.  It is a court case after the other. As a country what will we do about this. Where is the future of the young people of our country? The job creation that was promised during the state of the nation address now would really seem like it was all dream that the President has for the country.
